{"id":395,"date":"2006-03-15T10:54:13","date_gmt":"2006-03-15T15:54:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/homemaderavioli.com\/woodstock\/weblog\/?p=395"},"modified":"2006-03-15T10:54:13","modified_gmt":"2006-03-15T15:54:13","slug":"reports-of-my-demise-have-been-greatly-exaggerated","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.homemaderavioli.com\/woodstock\/weblog\/2006\/03\/reports-of-my-demise-have-been-greatly-exaggerated\/","title":{"rendered":"Reports of my demise have been greatly exaggerated"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I had a friend IM me the other day to ask &#8220;have you stopped blogging?&#8221;  The answer is: not really.<\/p>\n<p>Between fallout from my uncle&#8217;s death at the end of the year and my own troubling but not serious health-related issues at the end of January, writing, hell, thinking, hasn&#8217;t really been a priority in the past couple of months.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m starting to feel the need to get back to it though, but I&#8217;m also wondering if there&#8217;s any point, if my voice isn&#8217;t just more noise in a world that is already overloaded with superfluous crap.<\/p>\n<p>It also makes me wonder why I write here, exactly.  This blog started, as I&#8217;m sure many a blog did, as a platform for venting the <a href=\"http:\/\/homemade-ravioli.com\/woodstock\/weblog\/archives\/cat_office_space.html\">ridiculousness of my job<\/a> but, gradually, people (you know who you are!) have started reading me and leaving comments.
