{"id":352,"date":"2005-11-27T18:48:03","date_gmt":"2005-11-27T23:48:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/homemaderavioli.com\/woodstock\/weblog\/?p=352"},"modified":"2005-11-27T18:48:03","modified_gmt":"2005-11-27T23:48:03","slug":"while-we-prepare-to-resume-your-normal-service-chew-on-these-facts","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.homemaderavioli.com\/woodstock\/weblog\/2005\/11\/while-we-prepare-to-resume-your-normal-service-chew-on-these-facts\/","title":{"rendered":"While we prepare to resume your normal service, chew on these facts"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\nIt&#8217;s not quite finished yet, probably another five or six hundred more words, but I had enough to submit a scrambled version of the book for official counting today and have been declared a winner for National Novel Writing Month 2005.\n<\/p>\n<p>\nA few facts while I prepare to resume <acronym title=\"alright, relatively normal\">normal<\/acronym> service:\n<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Official word count to &#8220;win&#8221; NaNoWrimo 2005: 50,120<\/li>\n<li>Worst writing day (word production): Sunday, November 20 (467 words)<\/li>\n<li>Worst writing day for morale: Tuesday, November 15<\/li>\n<li>Number of scenes written and discarded: 9<\/li>\n<li>Number of pounds gained: 0<\/li>\n<li>Number of times I thought I was a talentless hack: too many to count<\/li>\n<li>Number of episodes of <i>Lost<\/i> I&#8217;m behind: 2 (don&#8217;t worry, they&#8217;re taped!)<\/li>\n<li>Number of invaluable comments of support from <a href=\"http:\/\/sttropezbutlersays.blogspot.com\/\">STB<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.jimcarson.com\">Jim<\/a>, and others: way more than I deserve\n<\/ul>\n<p>\nI have some thoughts, on the aforementioned song description, and some movie reviews (does it bother anyone but me that Jane Austen didn&#8217;t bother to give her men first names?), and a lot of catching up to do and commenting.  Not to mention a book to finish!\n<\/p>\n<p>\nThank you all so much for your patience.
