Punctuation is difficult enough for most people with out obscure explanations.<\/p>\n<p>This is not to say that I\u2019m a huge fan of <span class=\"pubtitle\">The Associated Press Stylebook<\/span> either.  Finding stuff is just a lot easier in the AP book.  Now, if my <span class=\"pubtitle\">Oxford Style Guide<\/span> ever arrives\u2026<br \/>\n<!--more--><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Rather fitting that this would be the 100th entry of someone as obsessed with language as I am. \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n<p>There&#8217;s been a lot of press lately for a little book called <span class=\"pubtitle\">Eats, Shoots &amp; Leaves<\/span>.  Though it wasn&#8217;t Americanized at all for publication on this side of the big blue, it&#8217;s definitely worth a read. <\/p>\n<p>&lt;Tip of the hat to my fabulous friend on the driving left side of the ocean who sent this book to me weeks ago.&gt;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I must say at this juncture that I&#8217;m not a fan of the Chicago Manual of Style.
