This was the view from my window on January 1, 2008. I thought the sky was fairly striking, and since we don’t get a lot of spectacular in the mornings in January here (mostly we get “oh, it’s gray…again.”) I thought I’d share. The domed building in the middle of the picture is the Franciscan monastery across the neighborhood.
It should be noted: this photo is unmanipulated. The sky really was that color.
