Tuesday oddities

So in Tonight’s The Night (Gonna Be Alright) did Rod Stewart use “pretty French gown” because he needed four syllables or because he didn’t think anyone would know what a pegnoir is?

Also, when the TV show has a “graphic content” warning in front of it why is it never a cute, half-naked woman? Why is it always someone barfing?

I know, it was a weird day.

    🙂

It’d be useful to have tagged ratings of content so people seeking “graphic content” would know whether it was projectile vomiting or gratuitous cheekiness. To some extent, this is what I find enjoyable about Joe Bob Briggs’ reviews (more so than most of the movies selected). For example, consider the review of “Showgirls” includes this description: “No dead bodies. One hundred seventy breasts. Four Vegas production numbers, with volcanoes […] *One star*.”

    Truth in reviewing.

(Also hope you had a lovely weekend.)

He means gown in the evening sense of gown (it’s too cold in Britain to wander around in your knickers and shoes). I’m fairly confident that my man Rod knows the name for every possible permutation of women’s scants.

    Barfing? Which movie was this?

Stick to premium cable, why don’t you?
