Why is it that desk staplers are manufactured so that the throw on the staple arm is too short to saddle stitch 8.5 x 11 paper?
I could believe collusion if Swingline also manufactured photocopiers that just so happened, for a reasonable price, to have a finisher that would do said middle of the page stapling for you but they don’t.
American standard works quite well for a lot of things – plumbing and electricity chiefly – but when it comes to office supplies, not so much.
