Feeding my head

I read. I read a lot. Rather unfortunately, though, I don’t read fast enough to have kept up in the past few years with my book-buying pace. Not to mention the weekly trips to the library with my mother.

I made it a New Year’s resolution to read more, not just the news, as if that would be a hardship for me, but also to work through those stacks of books I’ve been “meaning to read.” It helps, too, that book buying is somewhat closed out for me this year <mutters ruefully and with much profanity about anti-lock brake systems and master cylinders> so I’ve now no excuse not to finally finish No Logo by Naomi Klein or not to crack open and be horrified by Bushworld by Maureen Dowd which I received as a birthday gift nearly six months ago.

Thus…the reading list so far. Only books I finish will make it onto this list and it’s my intent to update it throughout the year.
